Poem about suicide I found

[Lestat de Lioncourt]

I lay here crying crimson tears
As I think of all the years.
They have passed by so fast,
Yet I think I will make this one my last.
I don't want this life anymore;
You can tell by the bloodied knife on the floor.
It's all too much for me;
Look in my eyes and you will see,
All the pain you have put me through:
My smiles are not true.
So while you enjoy the day of love,
I'll be hanging a rope from above.
It will be my new necklace.
And I know my decision seems pretty reckless...
But I have given this a lot of thought,
And pretty soon, all that's left of me will be a large blood spot...
